It's got potential... But it's crude, in every sense of the word. The dialogue reads like a 14 year old's fanfiction (Which may or may not be caused by the dev having a European language barrier, it's not that clear) and the menus are awkward and seem to be designed exclusively for console controllers... Considering that this is a turn-based RPG, you'll be spending most of your time in these menus too, so it rather quickly moves from a minor annoyance to a major issue.

There is a large variety of tactical options and elements available, but it's often unclear which elements apply to which skillsets. Lightning is attached to Lightning, for instance, which is a mixture of Special and Physical, whereas Wind is attached to Agile, and is primarily Special... It gets confusing quickly, and discovering after generating a fire-mage main character with massive levels of Special that it's best move deals Physical damage is fairly disheartening.

Progression is an issue too. Those of us that play tactical RPGs in this sort of vein tend to enjoy the sense of achievement as units grow from single-ability rookies into perfectly-statted murderhobos... But in Street Posse, units barely grow at all. The first multi-fight dungeon of the game offers 10xp per fight... And fights are a serious time investment. With your units requiring 100xp+ to grow (Or more if you picked the 'slow learner' drawback), things can feel a little slow... And as far as I can tell, there are no random encounters in the early part of the game, if at all.

The final issue I came across was a fairly significant game-breaking bug. One of my units died, and the game hung without presenting a menu. Now yes, this is Early Access, so it's sort of expected... But there's no visible save menu, and when I booted up the game again, I discovered that there's no autosave feature either. By examining the keyboard-layout image presented to the player before the menu, I discovered that the save menu is attached to the ALT key, but by then, I'd sort of had enough.

Now the above may not seem like a huge issue for an early-access game... But the developer released an Alpha version of Street Posse on a website (You can find the link in the Discussion forums at the time of writing) and the exact same bug was present. This is a demo that is over a year old, and is vastly different to the finished product... With the exact same game-breaking bug that I ran up against multiple times in the demo.

I hope I'm wrong, but that's a huge red flag to me, that perhaps the developer isn't all that serious about finishing Street Posse... I'll be back on release to see if things have improved, but right now, Posse isn't worth it's price.. If the devs actually did something with this, I will say that they've got a good foundation of a game, but it's a buggy mess as it is, with frequent crashing and one of my saves getting locked after the fourth major gang fight failing to proceed the story. However, given the utter lack of any change notes or patch logs I've seen, I think it's safe to say this thing's abandoned and the $20 I paid was to snag a sucker for some quick cash.

Pros:
Decent enough foundation for an early access.
Customization is a good personalization feature.

Cons:
Buggy as hell.
Very user unfriendly
Lack of dev response or communication indicates dead game.
Combat is confusing and contradictory at times.
Bad time invested for experience curve meaning growth is slow at best.

Levels design are awful. love the game , no comments. Very very bad game!. This game is really odd, I mostly just laughed when I'd get killed. Kinda came off as like a bad movie that's so bad it's good kinda deal for me.

It doesn't start off too bad as far as the level layout goes, being pretty simple and just having you jump\/whip your enemies till you reach the end. This lets you get used to the controls, which while really awkward, you can get used to. The first level feels like the only one that has anything kinda interesting in it since it has branching paths. I ran into bug I'd presume that took me where I was needed to go, but had no idea where it actually took me, so I had to backtrack where it teleported me to continue forward. Everything after the first stage is straight forward, only go right.

This is where the game just starts falling apart. Enemies are layered behind objects, leap of fates start happening in darken areas and enemies are spawned in a way that the whip becomes worthless in most regards. The game repeats the boulder scene for each stage but unlike stage one, the game transition causes you to pause on a screen, die, then the game continues as normal. The random rock drops during this is so overkill, I just couldn't stop laughing at it. They don't even need the big rock when the little ones slam you into the pits.

One of the areas I actually go stuck at was just odd. You get this bat you can't hit and a really long gap pretty platforms. You can't run when the bat is as far as he is to the right, since the hitboxes are kinda off a bit on the guy you control and you can't get enough jump from where you can jump. So what do ya do? You slam into the wall and jump 50 feet into the air of course. The only reason you can get past this point is due to a bug. Hilarious.

There is no ending, it just drops you back off at the final stage again. Anything would have been nice to know it ended, but eh. Fairly short game. Unless you think you'd find entertainment in how bad the game can be, probably might wanna skip it.

Also, the animations don't link well, your momentum gets cut every time you land from a jump or fall, and the transitions between screens \/ areas can be buggy (or just poorly put together). Arrows to move, with WASD working to make you jump and change the direction you face but not actually move.

There are better games even at this price.. Its very hard but somehow fun

I really want to enjoy this rpg. It has wonderful visuals, good unique characters and an amazing soundtrack! A bonus that it is very affordable. Though I get stuck at parts and they are just so infuriating it starts to ruin the experience for me personally. But if you can get past that then I totally would recommend this game.. Nashbored is a very visually nice game. The designs of the worlds and characters within them are charming and overall very entertaining. Sadly, everything else within the game is either frustrating, broken, or boring. The fights are repetitive, require little to no strategy, all of the bosses are hp sponges, some dodging segments of the game feel broken or are genuinely frustrating. Overall the art and presentation of the game is not enough to save this game's poor gameplay.
The original Dashbored is a much much better game in comparison, and I would recommend playing that instead.. UnderSouls? Darktales? Mildly infuriating until you git gud. Also spooky but ninja boi is cute.. This is a good game. Honestly, it is better than some 10 dollar indies I have played. Nice art, challenging but fair. Practice, Practice, Practice....   I would really love to recommend this loco. It's generally superb, but has a single, major flaw, which kills most of joy of driving it on Hamburg-Hanover route: no LZB.
  
  Driving 103 at 200 km\/h without LZB forces you to use the HUD - and even then any adverse signals are noticed too late to brake properly.. I have for most of my life been a fan of both the TEE and the Class 103, however this addon seriously disapointed me.
  Unlike most Steam DLC for TS, Steam does not have a free download for this locomotive's manual, as such, I looked to the manuals of other Vr products on steam, the steam manuals were identical to manuals downloaded fro the Vr website. As such, I downloaded the manual from the Vr website and expected it to represent the Steam product. I was SORELY disappointed <\/b> on all fronts besides controls, this locomotive excelled, however the controls were sorely lacking for a 'Pro Range' product.
  
  Overall message:
  A great product on most fronts, this locomotive lacks the depth of controls expected in a Pro Range product. If you do not care about cold starts and other 'in cab' features, this locomotive is excellent then i recomend it, otherwise, don't buy.. Good sound, good graphics and drives well too. With a throttlewheel with 39 notches, the train is very controlable.
  It just feels smooth driving this train. It doesn't lunge forward with like some other locs do when cranking up the throttle.
  
  Braking is also great. And again, it sounds awesome.. I Just Got The 103 Tee Yesterday Did A Quck Drive Scenario On The Hamburg Hanover Route This Electric Loco Drives Breakes An Looks Awesome Every Thing About It Is Great I Love This Train And The Passenger Cars That Come With It. One very nice train for German Routes,
  It comes with an excellent model with accurate carriages with their own door animations, also it has passenger views for all carriages and the sound is really high quality, some of the best i've heard. The cab is almost real from the train apart from quite a few of the non-necessary buttons not being functional.
  Highly reccomended addon for TS. Great locomotive, shame British Rail didn't design the Class 91 along the same lines as the DB 103. The streamlined cab front really evokes the two great things about this locomotive: it's very powerful and pretty fast too. A joy to drive, accelerates very quickly up to speed and the three braking systems work a treat for stations stops from high speeds. Would recommend this to anyone who likes 1960s trains, German trains, high speed trains or just great pieces of railway engineering. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. The Rheingold coaches that come with it are great as well, with very luxurious interiors, particularly in the Club\/Bar car and the Restaurant car. Buy if you enjoy zooming along the ground at 200km\/h (124mph) in an electric train full of raw power and tons of it.. Totally Worth it. I'm a big fan of these locomotives in reallife and the simulator depicts them with impecable performance. The model's details are fairly good and the sounds are very good.
